The assessment centre is an in-depth competency assessment which is linked to the key competencies required to work with the Aditya Birla Group. The assessment centre has been designed to mirror the key facets of Aditya Birla Group's (ABG) operating environment and issues that a manager will be required to deal with and thereby evaluates a candidate's performance within a simulated situation.

The hiring process is an intensive process with multiple rounds of assessment and is detailed out on the GMLP website.
The entire hiring process will take approximately 3-4 months, since it involves multiple rounds of assessment followed by the offer to successful candidates. The candidates will thereafter be typically given 3 months to join. The selected candidate, on joining, will undergo structured assignments before taking on the role at the designated Unit/Business.
The Aditya Birla Group is a global conglomerate and international exposure is a part of working in the Aditya Birla Group. Therefore, it is always a strong possibility. However it is dependent on the availability of positions and work permit regulations of different countries.
GMLP is aimed at developing manufacturing leaders for various manufacturing plants in India and overseas. A role at the corporate office, eventually in the long run cannot be ruled out. However, this is dependent on many factors including the availability of suitable roles and capability of the individual.

The Group's relocation policy covers travel and transportation of household goods cost for the employee and his family. The employee and his family will be provided accommodation at the Unit. School going children will be provided admission at the Unit's Aditya Birla Public school (affiliated to CBSE Board).
